The Aesthetics of Solitude
 — Why do we feel lonely?

Medium: Procreate
Time: 2025
Individual work

A 2D frame-by-frame animation about loneliness in an always-connected internet culture. A phone-controlled protagonist becomes dependent on “online friends,” until a power cut makes them vanish and exposes an engineered information cocoon. Built through rhythm, perspective shifts, and duration, the film uses satire and repetition to turn scrolling into a loop, questioning what connection becomes when it can be switched off.
